Biosciences Students' Association

Biosciences Students' Association (Bioteaduste Üliõpilaste Selts (BÜS) in Estonian) was founded on April 5, 2013 by active students studying in the UT gene technology curriculum. Initially, the aim of the association was to create a sense of community among students studying life sciences and to develop life science curricula and students of these curricula. Today, the association is also actively contributing to science outreach and raising environmental awareness.

All students from life sciences curricula from different study levels and specialties are welcome to become members of the association.

The Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Tartu supports and actively cooperates with of the Biosciences Students' Association. The association has comfortable and cozy premises for social activities, study and also rest in the basement of the our institute building (Riia 23, Tartu).
